According to reports, an Indiana lady has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated violence of an Indiana University student.
The assault on the 18-year-old woman, according to the university, was racially motivated.
According to court documents, the attack occurred last week in the afternoon on a bus, and since the victim was Asian, she was stabbed seven times, according to Reuters.
The Bloomingtonian, a local news source, reports that Billie Davis, 56, admitted to killing her victim and told police, “It would be one less person to blow up our country.”
The victim, whose identity has been suppressed, reportedly had many puncture wounds to the skull as a result of the attack.

Using a folding knife, Davis attacked the victim as she was getting off the bus, stabbing her roughly seven times in the top of the head, according to police reports provided to the Bloomingtonian.
Davis finished the assault and then sat back down.
In a message shared on Twitter on Friday, James Wimbush, the university’s vice president for diversity, stated, “Bloomington was cruelly reminded this week that anti-Asian prejudice is real.”
Wimbush continued by saying that the university “stands solidly” in support of Asian and Asian American students and employees.
Bloomington’s mayor, John Hamilton, said: “Although Bloomington is a generally safe area, we are not exempt from the problems that our entire country is facing. This tragic episode serves as a lesson for us all to watch out for one another, be aware of our surroundings, and work to eradicate racism and prejudice in all of its manifestations wherever and whenever we come across it.”
The woman was “embraced and provided with proper support as she goes through this awful ordeal,” the mayor said, thanking first responders, the university, and the neighborhood.
