Season 5 of Yellowstone has been eagerly anticipated by fans, but in the interim, we’ve got the Dutton world to keep us occupied. However, as we anticipate Jimmy Hurdstrom’s life on the Texas ranch in the planned 6666 spin-offs and the recently announced 1932, which will examine the Duttons during Prohibition and the Great Depression, fans are eagerly awaiting news regarding 1883’s future on the small screen.
James and Margaret Dutton (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill), together with their family, are the stars of the prequel, which has been a big hit on Paramount+. The season’s final episode is scheduled for February 27th, but fans are already clamoring for another 10 episodes.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to a video that was just shared on the show’s official Instagram page. “Catch up now before the final two episodes premiere on @paramountplus. #1883TV #ParamountPlus” reads the description of the teaser video for the action-packed finale.
As soon as the show debuted, fans began wondering about its future. Commenter “I sincerely hope this isn’t just a one-time thing. What a fantastic show! “Only 2 more episodes!?!?!?!?” one person exclaimed. Call RIP! We’ve got a problem!!!” “Come on Taylor, we need more episodes in a season,” one supporter said.
Don’t worry, you’ll be OK! Good news is on the way!
What’s 1883 about?
Dutton family’s forefathers moved out in the late 19th century to establish the Montana farm that would one day bear their family’s name, 1883, starring Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sam Elliott, and Isabel May.
It has been a harrowing journey for James and Margaret Dutton (McGraw & Hill) and their two children, Elsa (May) and John (Audie Rick), as they go from Fort Worth to the Great Plains in search of the American dream. It’s not the only story about the origins of Yellowstone that’s in the works.
Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan hasn’t explored the Dutton ancestry before in 1883, but it won’t be the last. A new genesis narrative prequel, titled 1932, will follow the Dutton family through Prohibition and the Great Depression in addition to the revelation that there would be more 1883.
