Situated in the Rocky Mountains, CASTLE PINES, CO — An early Saturday morning crash on southbound Interstate 25 claimed the lives of two and injured another. According to the Colorado State Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. near the Happy Canyon Road exit on southbound Interstate 25.
The Colorado State Patrol reports that the 28-year-old male driver of one of the automobiles was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The other car involved had three persons inside. Two of them died, while the third was brought to the hospital with serious injuries. It’s unclear how seriously the injured person was hurt.

The State Patrol reported that the motorist who was arrested had also suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash is unclear. Until now, nobody involved has been positively recognised. The Colorado State Patrol used a drone to examine a crash that shut down southbound I-25 between Castle Pines Parkway and RidgeGate Parkway for about 30 minutes around 9 a.m.
