2 Shot Dead In Lake County House Deputies Find Persons Of Interest Near Ormond Beach

ALTOONA, Florida – According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies spotted the persons of interest in Ormond Beach the next day after two people were discovered shot to death Thursday night at a residence in Altoona. Around 9 p.m., deputies claimed they responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in Altoona’s northeast.

Deputies reported finding the bodies of Shane Clements, 41, of Altoona, and David Mikell, 34, of Umatilla. The sheriff’s office claims that the men’s deaths were not the result of random acts of violence and that the people of interest do not reside in the house where the guys were discovered dead. Despite this, no arrests have been made in relation to the tragic shooting.
