Tuesday morning at approximately 5 a.m. local time in the state of Connecticut in the United States, a car accident claimed the lives of at least three students from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In contrast, five others were left with severe injuries (IST).
A car and a minivan were involved in a head-on collision that caused the accident.
At the time of the collision, seven passengers were inside the minivan, while the car only had three persons inside.
One of the students was from Andhra Pradesh, and the other two were from Telangana; all three had traveled to the United States to earn their master’s degrees from the University of New Haven.

Goda Premkumar Reddy, age 26, of Godavarigudem in Tipparthi Mandal of Nalgonda district, Gullapelli Pavani, age 22, of Yellamma Bazar in Warangal; and Sai Narasimha, age 23, of Kadiyapulanka in East Godavari district were identified as the deceased.
The three individuals called New Haven, which is located in the state of Connecticut, their home.
The accident occurred as they were driving back after an outing with five other friends in the state of Connecticut, and according to the sources, it was caused by the fog on the roads.
Those who were hurt are currently receiving medical care for their severe wounds.
