Last June, after a theatrical debut in Poland and a more restricted run in the UK, Netflix released “365 Days,” also known as “365 Dni” and less formally as “the Polish ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.'” Filmmaker Blanka Lipiska, who also directed the movie and believes the narrative is 85 percent “actual,” has characterised the film as a modern-day “Beauty and the Beast,” and it has swiftly become a Netflix Top 10 list in more than 90 countries (via Deadline).
Critics, on the other hand, ripped this film to pieces. Rotten Tomatoes gives this Sicilian mobster’s tale of enslaving an innocent lady for a year in exchange for her unwavering devotion an embarrassingly low rating of zero percent. It has an Audience Score of 29%. “An exercise in cinematic self-flagellation,” said the critics mentioned on the site. Its problematic elements, such as romanticising Stockholm Syndrome and promoting rape culture, have been quickly identified by others.
However, there is a steamy appeal to the film that stems from the chemistry (and the BDSM sex) between its two protagonists. Since it performed so well on Netflix, a sequel and a third instalment are currently in the works. In the meanwhile, here’s what we do know about the “365 Days” sequels:
Can you tell me when 365 Days: Part 2 will be released?
In June 2020, when the movie premiered on Netflix, actor Michele Morrone shared the information in a customised fan video for HalaHi, the Middle Eastern version of Cameo. While no definite release date has been specified, a sequel for “365 Days” has been hinted since then (via TMZ). Also, writer Blanka Lipiska offered a glimpse of the film’s sequel to Oprah’s Daily in February. There is a new twist, since these films are now produced under the Netflix Originals banner.
According to Newsweek, a sequel was originally scheduled to begin production in Sicily in August 2020, but was delayed owing to COVID-19 constraints.
Filming on both sequels is expected to begin in May 2021, according to Deadline.
Set a business in Poland, then shift the production to Italy. Later, various rumours surfaced online stating that filming will begin in earnest in Warsaw, Mazowieckie on June 29, 2021.
Netflix has essentially eliminated the need for a theatrical release before releasing the picture on its streaming channel. In this case, the planned 2022 release date for the sequels will likely be available on Netflix globally.

In 365 Days: Part 2, who are the actors and actresses?
According to the announcement made by Michele Morrone early on, the male lead of “365 Days” is returning. Morrone portrays Massimo, a thug with a lavish mansion where he keeps his fling captive. Anna-Maria Sieklucka, who played Laura in the first film, will return to reprise her role as the film’s female protagonist. Magdalena Lamparska will reprise her role as Olga, Laura’s best friend, in the next season of the series.
For the sequel, more members of the supporting cast are scheduled to return as well
Simone Susinna, an Italian actor, will play a prominent part in Part 2. It’s a love triangle that characterises the second film because of his presence. Blanka Lipiska, who co-wrote the previous film, is working on this one behind the scenes. In addition to directing the first film, Barbara Bialows and Tomasz Mandes will also direct Part 2.
365 Days Part 2 has a storyline, but what is it?
You won’t be surprised to learn that the cliffhanger at the conclusion of “365 Days” isn’t all that surprising when you know that the movie is based on two further novels in the series. During the second novel, Massimo and Laura begin a new chapter in their relationship. After discovering she is pregnant, he marries her, but Marcelo “Nacho” Matos (Susinna) pulls a Massimo and abducts Laura from the hospital.
No more of this! So it’s no surprise that she, too, is smitten with Nacho. Voilà! There’s an instantaneous love triangle formed. It’s a dangerous situation for Laura and the kid, and Massimo has an evil double.
I’m not sure how much worse this sequel will be than the previous one, but that “hot” aspect is what keeps people coming back for more, and there will be more of the same in Part 3.
According to Deadline, Netflix’s monitoring may allow for a more careful treatment of some of the troublesome issues from the previous film. If that is the case, they’ll have to wait until next year.

End Lines
According to Netflix, there will be a second and third season of 365 days. The screenplay was co-written by Polish novelist Blanka Lipinska, who also wrote the book that inspired the film. The successors to This Day and The Next 365 Days will be “loosely” based on the previous two titles in the trilogy.
Filming for 365 Days Part 2 and Part 3 will begin this month in Poland and Italy, respectively. Netflix plans to broadcast it globally in May or June of 2022.
Is Laura Biel (Sieklucka) really dead when she is attacked by the Italian mafia in a tunnel at the conclusion of “365 days”? Massimo’s adversary, her father’s executioner, and the guy who inflicted Massimo’s wound may all have murdered her in the tunnel.
When Blanka Lipiska’s second book, “Ten Dziew” (“This Day”), was published in 2018, Massimo is given the task of saving her from the hands of her boyfriend’s nemesis.
There is a good chance that Netflix’s second adaptation of the third book will portray Massimo and Laura’s lavish wedding. So, it’s possible that Massimo will have to decide whether or not to save Laura’s unborn child or his own life.
