Stackable Patriotic Painted Rocks I’m Jane from Sustain My Craft Habit, and I’m happy to be here today. Since we’ve done so many rock painting projects, it’s surprising to us that we haven’t done any patriotic rocks yet! There is no better time to share this fun and easy DIY stacking rock idea than right before Independence Day.
We didn’t need to use a sealer or varnish because we utilized an outdoor-safe multi-surface paint. To decorate your landscape with these red, white, and blue-themed pebbles, all you have to do is paint them. You’ll want to pick rocks with a flat surface so that they may be stacked one on top of the other effortlessly. Wouldn’t a small stack of this outside be lovely?

How To Make Rock Painting?
To begin, you’ll require a variety of medium-sized flat surface stones for painting. DecoArt Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics – True Blue should be used to paint the full surface of the largest and smallest pebbles. After that, use Cotton Ball (white) to cover the medium rock completely on all sides. If necessary, apply a second layer of paint to ensure complete coverage. Let it dry to the bone.
Blue and white painted rocks Use a white paint pen to draw 5-6 stars on each side of the largest rock. Repeat the process until the desired level of coverage is achieved a white paint pen is used to design stars. In the Lipstick (or any other red paint) color, use a flat-tipped paintbrush to equally space single stripes across the width of the rock. Re-apply to the opposite side of the rock once it has dried to complete the stripe pattern. You can use a ruler to smooth off the edges of your lines.
Guiding the red drawn lines with a flat surface for the areas that are uneven and wavy, you can use a paint pen to smooth them out. Draw some stars with a white paint pen and some swirls and dots with a red paint pen on the little rock. Add further layers of protection by repeating the process using a red paint pen to draw lines. Rocks can be stacked with the largest at the bottom and smaller towards the top for an eye-catching display. Friends have a safe and happy Independence Day!
