She had just recently resolved her legal battle with her ex-husband Jihoon Lee for custody of Taeyang (via TrueCrime Jankie). She reaffirmed what she had previously said in response to fans’ questions concerning Jihoon and his family’s role in Taeyang’s life, saying that they haven’t made any recent attempts to contact him. Deavan once more argued to fans who were accusing her of hiding Taeyang from her ex and his family that it was because of the conflict with Jihoon that she is now raising money for Taeyang’s medical care.

Deavan Clegg appeared to clarify that the earnings from her work on 90 Day Fiancé and its spinoffs went directly into her battle for Taeyang’s custody after she separated from Jihoon Lee. During her reply, she made a su Nbtle dig at her ex, mentioning the crowdfunding account he had created for his own legal representation during the custody proceedings. Although Lee hasn’t updated his social media accounts since late May, his Instagram account is now completely empty of any images of Taeyang and Deavan. He doesn’t show any indication of how much he is aware of his son’s illness.
