On Tuesday evening, a motorbike accident claimed the life of a young man who resided in Olathe, Kansas.
Near around 8:42 p.m. on Tuesday night, a collision at Woodland Road and Falcon Ridge Drive claimed the life of 16-year-old Ethan Long, according to the Lenexa Police Department.
Based on the results of an initial investigation, it appears that the truck was traveling northbound on Woodland Road when it made a left turn into Falcon Ridge Drive. According to the findings of the inquiry, the motorbike was moving at a speed that was in excess of the posted speed limit of 35 miles per hour while Long was driving it southbound on Woodland Road.

According to the Lenexa Police Department, the motorcyclist collided with the side of the truck while the truck was turning.
At the time of the crash, Long was protecting his head with a helmet, yet he was pronounced dead at the site. According to the police, the driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with them during the inquiry.
