The man frequented the bar Banditos, which is close to a pond. Manny Hidalgo, a customer in the pub, told The Daily Sun that he heard the man screaming from the pond area and ran outside in the early morning darkness to hunt for him.
According to Hidalgo, he was shouting and swimming toward the coast. I sprinted after him and pulled him onto the sand. It was dark outside, so I was afraid to approach the lake.
