An investigation is currently being conducted after an explosion at home in Orlando, Florida, early on Monday evening left one guy in critical condition.
A candle may have started the fire, and the flames may have been shot through the roof by a gas can, according to the hypothesis of the neighbours. On the other hand, the firefighters are at a loss to explain why the fire spread as rapidly as it did.
The flames rose as high as 10 metres (30 feet) and incinerated the man trapped inside.
Happy Gafford, who lives nearby, described the sound as “almost like an explosion.”
She stated that she rendered first aid to the sufferer till the emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
According to her and several other neighbours, the man was the only occupant of the house at the time of the fire, which was started by a candle and further aggravated by a gas can kept on the front porch.
Chief Harvey Jones of the Orlando Fire District claimed that his employees ran additional lines to prevent a large propane tank from bursting and protect a neighbouring property from harm.

The investigators stated that they would try to determine what caused the fire to spread rapidly.
Jones remarked that the fire proceeded at a relatively rapid pace. “Under regular conditions, it normally wouldn’t have gone up, but by the time we got here, it had skyrocketed to an unprecedented level.”
The firefighters extinguished the flames in roughly twenty minutes, leaving just smoke.
The dog that belonged to the family escaped the fire and was looked after by a neighbour.
