FLORIDA’S LAKE COUNTY — According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, a guy has been detained and charged after two persons were slain in Clermont on Wednesday. Around 2:00 pm on Wednesday, deputies received a call reporting a killing on Jewelfish Road in the Clermont resort community of Thousand Trails.
According to deputies, a woman at the residence reported to them that a man, later identified as 41-year-old Justin Lamar Jones, had killed his stepson on Wednesday in a travel trailer at the park. Deputies were also told by the female that Jones reportedly tied her up and assaulted her s*xually all day long until she managed to flee. Jones’ SUV was discovered in the Publix parking lot along Hartwood Marsh Road and Highway 27 in Clermont. Jones was seen on foot running in the vicinity of a Walgreens. Jones was apprehended after a foot chase, according to deputies.
During their investigation, detectives discovered a second body inside the trailer, according to deputies. Their identity is still a secret. Jones is accused of two first-degree murders, s*xual battery, and kidnapping. There was no additional information available right away.
