Here we are talking about an Accident on John Deere Road. According to a press statement from the Moline Police Department, a man was killed in a two-car collision that occurred the morning of Wednesday, December 21, at the junction of John Deere Road and 53rd Street.
Just before 8 a.m., Moline Police responded to the collision. The initial inquiry revealed that a black Kia Stinger was traveling westbound on John Deere Road, and a silver Chevrolet Cruze was traveling south on 53rd Street.
Witnesses claim that the Chevy entered the intersection after running a red light and was struck on the driver’s side door by the Kia. It was revealed that Chevy’s driver was a Rock Island, Illinois, managed 20.
His identity is being suppressed until the Rock Island County Coroner issues a statement. While emergency personnel rushed to the incident, lanes at the intersection were closed for several hours.
