SMYRNA BEACH, NEW This past weekend, a surfing mishap claimed the life of an Ormond Beach firefighter.

This past weekend, Ethan Wilson, an Ormond Beach fireman, and paramedic passed away. On Wednesday, Wilson was surfing when he lost consciousness in the ocean. He was saved, and when he got to the hospital, he passed away on Saturday.

His brother-in-law Bryon White remarked, “Feeling like we were going through this alone would have made it so much more difficult.” “But a sizable number of firefighters were present at that hospital around the clock for three days. never moved.”
