Arleen Sorkin, the voice of Harley Quinn in the comics and the actress of the daytime drama Days of Our Lives, passed away recently at the age of 67. In Batman: The Animated Series, Sorkin provided the voice of the Joker, the legendary character he inspired.

There was a delay in determining the cause of death. Sorkin has been the voice of DC Comics villain Harley Quinn since 1992, and she has had enormous success in this role.

Arlene Sorkin brought her comic timing and style to her role as Calliope on Days of our Lives from 1984 until 1990, and she returned to the role in 1992, 2001, and 2006. In 2020, she made her last performance appearance.
In Calliope’s first moments on DAYS, she was creating a dress for Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) while working for Liz Curtis (Gloria Loring) at her clothes store. Calliope’s infinite assortment of bizarre and imaginative headwear became one of her defining characteristics.

Calliope then left town and returned as a wedding planner after co-hosting a chat show with Jennifer Horton. She tied the knot with the character Eugene Bradford, played by John de Lancie.
