Chicago Bar Shooting: Sunday night, the office of the Cook County Medical Examiner was able to determine the identities of the three people who had been killed in a shooting in the Portage Park area earlier in the day.
The officials claim that the shooting occurred at approximately 2:26 in the morning following a verbal altercation outside a bar in the 3300 block of North Central.
At least four persons were injured when shots were fired at the site by a lone male gunman. Ricky Vera, who was 50 years old, was found with gunshot wounds to the head and chest, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the authorities.

Mario Pozuelos, who was 26 years old, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and later passed away at a hospital in the area. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner, Mercedes Tavares, a 24-year-old woman, also sustained several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at a local hospital after she was taken there with her injuries.
A fourth victim, a lady in her twenties who was shot in the head, was rushed to a local hospital where she was given a severe condition and is now being treated for her injuries.
According to the reports of the Chicago police, the suspect drove off in a vehicle of a dark color SUV.
