Big Mouth, the critically acclaimed Netflix animated series, has been renewed for a seventh season. Season 6 of the popular animated series will air later this year, according to the streaming service.
With Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett as the show’s creators, Big Mouth tells the story of a group of teens who are plagued by monsters who control human emotions. While the show’s first couple of seasons mostly concentrated on hormone monsters – answerable for puberty –, the series has now expanded to every facet of human existence, revealing creatures who regulate despair, shame, and rational reasoning.
The shows’ popularity also recently led to the creation of the Human Resources animated spinoff. Rather than focusing on the human characters, this spin-off explores the antics of the organizations that employ a wide range of emotional creatures. Netflix has renewed Human Resources, which is coming back for a second season at an undetermined release frame.

Big Mouth Season 7 Storyline
After having his heart smashed by Jessi, and publically humiliated in front of his classmates, Nick’s lovebug evolved into a hatesworm. In the end, Nick conquered his hatred for Jessi, and everything else around him after meeting his real life, and adult counterpart Nick Kroll.
In the upcoming season, we can anticipate Nick making up for the lost time by becoming even more enraged with his family and friends. Naturally, the impulses and hormones of puberty will likely run riot as he comes to terms with growing up.
Andrew was a particularly horny teen throughout season 5, and while Maury was impressed, many of his friends were disgusted by his behavior. However, Andrew has truly come into his own as a person, and with each passing season becomes more and more confident.
In the meantime, Maury will be sitting there, proud of his apprentice Andrew, as he increases his attempts to locate a girlfriend and new ways to get his rocks off the ground.
Upon exploring her sexuality, Jessi finds that she is also attracted to women as well as males. She was also the reason behind Ali breaking up with her girlfriend, Samira, who was immensely envious of Jessi and Ali’s bond. The bond between the two girls also caused Jessi to overlook her relationship with Missy. By the end of the season, Jessi mended her friendship with Missy, and a new romance had started between her and Ali.
Next season will undoubtedly see Jessi explore her growing romance with Ali, and with Ali already being an incredibly sexually active person, we can see Jessi stressing out that her inexperience in the bedroom may not be enough to satisfy her new partner.

Conclusion
Season 7 of Big Mouth has been renewed, but there is no word yet on whether or not a seventh season will be produced. Given the path of the tale, it wouldn’t be shocking if season 7 was the final of Big Mouth, however, we could see Netflix tacking on another season or two to their greatest adult-animated comedy series.
