Who was Big Scarr?
Big Scarr, also known as Alexander Woods, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 7, 2000. He was a part of 1017 Records, run by Gucci Mane. He co-wrote the song “SoIcyBoyz” with Tay Keith, Fogiano, and Pooh Shiesty, which became one of his most well-known songs.
He was one of nine kids who grew up in the Magnolia neighborhood in South Memphis. He lived with his grandmother until he was thirteen. After she died of lung cancer, he moved in with his father. Woods was engaged in an automobile accident when he was 16 and was propelled through a friend’s vehicle window.
Big Scarr rose to stardom with the song “SoIcyBoyz,” which also features Pooh Shiesty and Fogiano. The following two albums in the series, “SoIcyBoyz 2” and “SoIcyBoyz 3,” were also issued by him.
The third episode features Gucci Mane, while the second and third episodes also include producer Tay Keith. Big Scarr’s debut mixtape, Big Grim Reaper, released on April 16, 2021, sold 22,000 copies in its first week and peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200. This led to Big Scarr’s first charting endeavor. His most recent social media posting was on his Instagram stories ten hours ago.
Scarr’s “Big Grim Reaper: The Return” mixtape, which served as his last piece of work, was published in April 2021. This album collaborated with Offset, Gucci Mane, Pooh Shiesty, and others on 30 songs.

Big Scarr, a well-known American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, died suddenly on December 22, 2022. He was only 22 years old. Fans and people in the hip-hop world were shocked to hear about the young rapper’s death, and they shared their sadness on social media.
The news that the young rapper had died was confirmed on social media by US tabloids. This rapper was shot in the hip in the year 2020. Because the bullet went up his spine, Big Scarr had to have his appendix removed and his right leg fixed. Several other rappers on the 1017 label confirmed that he had died. But Big Scarr’s cause of death hasn’t been found yet.
According to his official website, Big Scarr was almost killed in a shooting in 2020. The bullet hit him in the hip and went to his chest. “I was moving, so the bullet kept moving, too,” says a quote in his bio. “To save me, the doctors had to cut me in half. My insides were all messed up, so my appendix had to come out so I could walk again. I got better and back on my feet faster than I thought.”
Big Grim Reaper says in his bio, “It’s rough out here. I’m rapping about what’s going on in my hometown. It’s the poor areas. It is the front lines. The neighborhood. It’s hard. “It’s true.” Big Scarr may have scars on his face and body from hard times, but he gets through them.
