There was a fatal shooting in Bladen County, North Carolina, on Wednesday, according to WECT. An abandoned property near the corner of Center Road and Twisted Hickory Road was the source of a Sunday morning noise complaint. Even before deputies arrived, the report was escalated to “shots fired,” and they were told that someone had been shot.
A representative from the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office said that this shooting followed an argument. Chasity Baxley, 24, was found by deputies with a gunshot wound. Her health was deemed critical, so she was rushed to Bladen County Hospital. The emergency medical services of Bladen County sent Makei Hill, a 17-year-old man, to Bladen County Hospital after they discovered he had been shot. At the time of his arrival, he was already considered dead.

Deputy investigators discovered the body of 30-year-old Javonta Purdie at the scene. Law authorities arrived to find a group of 150-200 persons camped out in the field of the abandoned property. There is currently no suspicious information available.
