Braylon Meade Accident: Washington-Liberty Senior in high school was slain in a “tragic” car accident in Arlington. Following a tragic collision in a Rock Spring neighborhood on Friday, November 11, 2022, Arlington County Police have officially charged a teenager with driving while intoxicated and involuntary manslaughter.
Since then, senior Braylon Meade’s death in the collision has been confirmed by Tony Hall, the principal of Washington-Liberty High School. In a letter to parents and staff, Hall said, “It is with deep sadness that I notify you that a member of the class of 2023, Braylon Meade, passed away Friday morning.”

“Braylon was a cherished member of the Washington-Liberty community who, over the years, had a profound effect on the lives of many of our students and staff members. Braylon played football and basketball for our school and was a talented student-athlete. His loss affects all of us terribly. Investigations are still continuing, but there are no specifics at this time regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash.
