Brian Hartline, the offensive coordinator at Ohio State, was in a car accident in Delaware County and taken to the hospital.
Hartline and a buddy who is not affiliated with Ohio State were taken to Riverside Hospital early Sunday with non-life-threatening injuries after being involved in an all-terrain vehicle accident, per a statement provided by the Ohio State athletic department late Sunday afternoon. According to the statement, Hartline expects to be discharged from the hospital sometime on Sunday evening.

The school reported that Hartline had an ATV accident on his property this morning. A representative for the Delaware County Sheriff’s office, Tracy Whited, said that at around 1:20 a.m., they received a call concerning a rollover crash involving Hartline. The deputy who found the Polaris side-by-side identified the driver as Hartline. A medical transport vehicle was called to the location.

“I appreciate everyones (sic) support,” Hartline tweeted late on Sunday. My side-by-side vehicle overturned on my land, and I was sent to the hospital for observation.
“I’m in good shape.”
On Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes played in their annual spring game. With his promotion to offensive coordinator in January, Hartline, Ohio State’s wide receivers coach since 2018, has been in charge of calling plays for the offense during spring practice.
