Even if we didn’t need it, we may ask why it wasn’t in our life sooner…
This new pizza-calzone combination from Little Caesars, dubbed the Crazy Calzony, may become our newest pizza-night obsession, despite its outlandish appearance.
Online pre-orders of the Crazy Calzony began on August 16 and will be available for walk-in orders (a.k.a. “HOT-N-READY”) between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on August 23 for a limited period.
Pepperoni pizza is sandwiched between four calzone slices to form the overall shape of the pizza. (It’s a good shape because it’s so over-the-top). Garlic white sauce, mozzarella cheese, julienned pepperoni, and some parmesan cheese are all stuffed into the calzone portions that are formed by folding the crust in half.
It comes with a Crazy Sauce, but we didn’t miss it at all when we tried an early sample of the new menu item without the sauce.
There is a cheese variant of the Crazy Calzony, which is a pizza-calzone hybrid split into eight portions. (Excuse me while I put a hold on the pepperoni.) This is what we tried and found to be rather tasty.
The crust around the calzone pieces had a salty, almost pretzel-like flavour to it, at least to me and my other tasters. Despite the fact that one member of my tasting group complained that it was very salty, I devoured the entire thing.) We all loved how the calzone (with its garlicky, gooey cheese!) and pizza (with sauce) were combined into one delicious meal.
“One of our most exciting items ever,” according to Little Caesars’ chief marketing officer Jeff Klein, has been in the works for months. Klein is anxious for consumers to experience “the cheesy bliss” of the new item.
If you’re looking for something a little out-of-the-ordinary yet still delicious, the Crazy Calzony is for you. (It’s logical, given the name.) Even if you and your family can’t agree on whether to order pizza or calzones, it looks like a suitable alternative for those occasions.
The pizza world is full with calzones for me. However, this is no longer an issue.

Basil Hayden: Why This Wine Is So Popular? Know All The Major Expensive Constituents!
Beam Suntory (a subsidiary of Suntory Holdings of Osaka, Japan) produces Jim Beam small batch bourbons, among which Basil Hayden’s is the lightest in body. Unlike its three more potent sibling brands (Knob Creek, Booker’s, and Baker’s), this one has an alcohol content of just 80 proof.
Branded in honour of Basil Hayden Sr., Basil Hayden’s bourbon was first launched in 1992. Distiller Hayden employed more rye in his mash than other bourbon distillers. On the label of his own distillery in Nelson County, Raymond B. Hayden pays homage to his grandpa Basil Sr., with a representation of his visage. It was part of Beam Industries’ new “small batch” line that included “Basil Hayden’s,” which Beam claims follows a method identical to that used by Hayden in 1792.
At first the age statement on the label read “Aged 8 Years,” but in 2014 that was changed to “Artfully Aged,” implying that the company no longer offers an age guarantee.

Twenty-five Maryland Catholic families led by Basil Hayden Sr. ventured into what is now Nelson County, Kentucky (near Bardstown) in 1785. First Catholic church west of the Allegheny Mountains, first Catholic church in what is now Kentucky were built on land provided by Hayden there.
In the 1660s, when Catholics were being persecuted across the British Isles, the Heydons (spelled with the old spelling) fled to the Virginia Colony. It was Francis Hayden who came from Virginia to Maryland in 1678 to settle in St. Mary’s County on St. Clement’s Bay, which is now Nelson County, Kentucky, where the family lived until Basil Sr. brought his band of Catholic families into the area. Basil Sr. provided the Colonial Army with food during the American Revolution. citations needed
As far back as the Norman Conquest, Hayden’s ancestors may be traced to England (Norfolk). During Richard the Lionheart’s Third Crusade in the 1190s, one of my ancestors, Simon de Heydon, was knighted in Jerusalem.
Henry III appointed his son, Thomas de Heydon, as Norfolk’s Justice Itinerant. An further progenitor, John Heydon, is believed to have been linked with “The Grove” around 1400, a substantial estate in Watford (Hertfordshire), some twenty miles northwest of London.
Sir Richard de Heydon was killed in the French Wars, and some academics believe that John Heydon was awarded the estate as a reward for his father’s service.
Others aren’t so sure. Even so, Heydons resided in Watford for the better part of a century, dating from the 14th to the 17th century.

Aaron Lowe Was Shot After Argument Over Moving His Car; Man Charged
The man suspected to be responsible for the last month’s deadly shooting of Aaron Lowe, a University of Utah football player, was charged Wednesday. Records reveal that the shooting sprung from an argument.
According to a report by Salt Lake Tribune, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office charged 22-year-old Mawut Buk with aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, possession of a firearm by a restricted person, and obstruction of justice, court records reveal.
Lowe’s Fatal Shooting
The 21-year-old football player, who hailed from Mesquite, Texas, was killed on Sept. 26 at a house party in Sugar House after uninvited guests, including Buk, were asked to leave, a probable cause document filed in the case states.
In a contact report found by the Salt Lake Tribune, throughout the night of the party, there were “several fights” that prompted the host to kick people out of the party.
If convicted, aggravated murder charges in Utah can carry the death penalty. Reports said that prosecutors will make that decision after the case’s preliminary hearing.
Cause Of the Fatal Shooting, According To Witnesses
Charging documents revealed that witnesses told investigators that Lowe, Buk, and other partygoers got into an argument just in front of Lowe’s car before the shooting began.
Buk, in an initial interview during his arrest on Oct. 3, told investigators he was not at the party.
Fuamoli Pomale, 20, who was also shot multiple times and remains in critical condition as of Oct. 3, revealed what happened before the shooting, police said.
Pomale, according to a district attorney’s office spokesman, is alive but is unable to speak due to her injuries after being shot in the chest and neck that damaged her spinal cord and some soft tissues.
Records said that she either typed her answers to the questions asked by investigators or answered non-verbally with gestures. She told investigators that the argument begun after Lowe tried moving his car when four men would not move out of the way.
Another witness revealed to police that they saw Buk take a gun from another man who was also at the party. Buk eventually walked out of the garage, holding the gun, and the shooting began, the witness said.
According to charging documents, a witness was able to take a video of the shooting. It shows a man crossing the street and lifting his hand to his middle. The man looked like he was holding a “dark object.” In the video, as he walks out of the frame, two gunshots are heard.
Just minutes later, the video shows the man standing on a park strip just in front of Lowe and Pomale who were on the ground.
Pomale told investigators that the shooter came back to finish them both off.
The person who was able to take a video recording of the incident ran away but the video was able to capture sounds of at least five gunshots going off, according to documents. Investigators were not able to retrieve the gun used.
Shooting Happened Hours After Utah Football Team Homecoming Win
The fatal shooting transpired hours after the Utah Football Team’s Homecoming win against Washington State.
Lowe, a Utes cornerback played on the Sept. 25 game and wore a No. 22 jersey as a tribute to Ty Jordan, a former teammate and friend of Lowe who died in September from what appeared to be an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Buk is currently in Salt Lake County jail, held without bail. A court hearing for the case is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
District Attorney’s office spokesman did not mention if there are other people being investigated regarding the shooting.
Buk’s Criminal History
At the time of the Sept. 26 shooting, Buk was on probation for two robberies that he committed in 2019, just two of the series of crimes he had been charged with over the past years, court records reveal.
Minnesota Man Kills ‘Wrong Person’ Instead Of Ex-Girlfriend; Charged With Murder
A man in Minnesota was charged with murder after he killed a “wrong person” instead of his ex-girlfriend, authorities said.
Suspect Found Armed With Rifle And Handgun
According to a news release by the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call at 11 p.m. last Thursday regarding shots fired near the Cozy Bay Resort on Lake Edward in Nisswa.
Deputies responded to the scene and found 29-year-old Cameron Jay Moser, from Brainerd, armed with a rifle and a handgun, People reported Wednesday citing the news release.
The release also stated that deputies negotiated with Moser for over two hours to lay down his weapons. He was eventually arrested and taken into custody.
Victim’s Body Discovered
During a search at the crime scene, the Crow Wing County Tactical Response Team discovered the body of 46-year-old Nisswa resident, Bethany Ann Bernatsky.
Bertnatsky’s body was found in the hallway of one of the resort cabins. The press release also stated that she was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, Minneapolis Star Tribune reported citing the criminal complaint report.
A Case Of ‘Mistaken Identity’
Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard said Tuesday that they are looking into the possibility that Moser wanted to shoot his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend who is the daughter of the previous owner of the resort, Star Tribune reported.
According to Bret Jevning, a week before the incident, Moser came to the RV park he owns across the street from the resort and said he was looking for his daughter.
Jevning said that Moser was not happy about his daughter getting control of her drug abuse through counseling and that used to mock her by using drugs, according to People.
“He was angry because we weren’t giving him access to my daughter,” Jevning said.
On the night of the incident, Moser “mistook (the victim) for her daughter,” reports said.
Ben Bernatsky, brother of the victim, told Star Tribune that Moser’s ex-girlfriend looked like Bethany Ann Bernatsky. According to him, they had the same body structure, hair, and color and claimed that Moser killed the wrong person.
Moser has been charged with second-degree intentional murder and remains on hold with $1 million bail. He is set to be in court on Oct. 20.
As of present, it is still not stated if he has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.
Bernatsky’s Family And Friends Grieve After The Incident
According to Bernatsky’s brother, his sister was a prominent horse trainer before. She grew up in the Brainerd Lakes area and had recently moved back from Vermont for the winter.
A friend of the victim wrote in a Facebook post that Bernatsky believed that everyone has value and she treated them appropriately. The post also stated that Bernatsky made people around her feel loved and important.
