Candace Amber Owens Farmer, born in the United States on April 29, 1989, is a prominent conservative figure in media and politics. Known for her criticism of Black Lives Matter and the Democratic Party as well as President Trump and the Republican Party, Owens later became known for her pro-Trump activism as a black woman.
She has repeatedly argued that the harm caused by white supremacy and nationalism is overstated, especially in comparison to other problems Black Americans face. Between 2017 and 2019, she served as communications director for the conservative advocacy organisation Turning Point USA. Candace, a political talk programme, is what brought her to The Daily Wire in 2021, where she now works.

Candace Owens’s Career
In 2015, Owens presided over Degree180 as its chief executive officer; the company was a marketing agency that provided advisory, production, and planning services. Owens routinely posted anti-conservative and anti-Trump stuff on the blog he wrote for the website.
Owens criticised conservative Republicans in a column she wrote for the site in 2015. She referred to the “bat-shit-crazy antics of the Republican Tea Party” and concluded, “The good news is, they will eventually die off (peacefully in their sleep, we hope), and then we can get right on with the OBVIOUS social change that needs to happen, IMMEDIATELY.”
In 2016, Owens launched SocialAutopsy.com, a website she claimed would monitor the digital footprints of cyber bullies and expose them. Users would have been encouraged to send in screenshots of unpleasant comments, which the site would then sort into user-specific folders. She founded the website through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Almost immediately, the suggestion sparked backlash, with some claiming that by suggesting it, Owens was attempting to de-anonymize (dox) Internet users in violation of their privacy. People on “all sides of the anti-harassment argument” were quick to attack the database, The Daily Dot reports, calling it a “public shame list” that would promote “doxing” and “retaliatory harassment.”
