A tornado ripped through Texas, and videos of drivers’ reactions went popular online. There may have been as many as 12 tornadoes across northern Texas by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth; five of these were confirmed by video or eyewitness accounts.
Video footage shows vehicles either attempting to drive past the tornado or turning back when they see it.

The uploader claims that a tornado was captured on camera at 114 Grapevine, close to Baylor Hospital and that this video has been viewed more than 340,000 times.
A tornado can be seen off the highway somewhere further down the road as heavy rain falls. The sky is littered with debris, as well.
After the tornado has passed the road, the vehicle in front of the camera can be seen gently backing up before taking off again.
Another video with over 140,000 views shows cars actively reversing their automobiles to flee the tornado.

Multiple lightning strikes can be spotted along the tornado’s course across the highway. The tornado may have damaged power lines, but it’s also possible that lightning is to blame.
Reed Timmer, a meteorologist and storm chaser, also posted footage of a tornado on his Twitter account.

Tornadoes are possible in East Texas today. He captioned the image, “Hearing stories this tornado north of Karachi, LA caused major damage to Four Point.”
A PDS (especially difficult situation) tornado warning had been issued earlier, and he told the camera, “I am in the south side of Shreveport, Louisiana.”
However, we can breathe a sigh of relief because the confirmed tornado that triggered the warning was brief and occurred in the southwest, close to the border between Louisiana and Texas.
The top of the tornado, the tornado cyclone, was visible, giving the impression that it was pretty massive and powerful.
The radar indicated a TDS (tornado debris signature). Fortunately, the tornado’s strength diminished rapidly as it rose above the southern part of Shreveport.
Intern Jake Lambright from KNOE8 uploaded photos of the damage caused by other tornadoes in Louisiana.
