On the 12th of November, an accident happened when a driver stopped at a stop sign on Interstate 65 North and was rear-ended. Using information from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, News determined that 16-year-old Chrisley was the second vehicle’s driver.

The Associated Press reported that at around 11 p.m. on Monday, both Todd and Julie Chrisley were given sentences of 12 years in jail plus 16 months on probation.

Federal prosecutors recommended 17.5 to nearly 22 years in prison for Todd Chrisley and 10 to 12.5 years for Julie Chrisley in a sentencing memorandum they released earlier this month. The sentencing hearing began on Monday and will resume on Tuesday.
