Nearly two years after disclosing her miscarriage, model Chrissy Teigen and her singer-husband John Legend announced that they were expecting another child. Chrissy revealed photographs on Instagram on Thursday showing her growing baby bump as well as the scar left by the fertility drugs she used. She also wrote a lengthy letter to her followers.
Before getting married in 2013, Chrissy and John Legend first met on the set of one of his music videos. Luna and Miles are their two kids. Chrissy wore a black cropped top and a pair of briefs in the images she published to announce her pregnancy. She struck various stances for selfies in the mirror, occasionally revealing her house in the backdrop. “The last few years have been a flurry of emotions, to put it mildly,” Chrissy wrote as the caption for the photo. “But joy has filled our house and hearts again.”
She went on, “After a billion shots (mostly in the leg lately, as you can see! ), we are expecting another. Every time I have my appointment, I tell myself, “Ok, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce,” but then I hear a heartbeat and decide I’m still too afraid. I doubt I’ll ever leave a meeting feeling more thrilled than anxious, but thus far, everything is lovely and flawless, and I’m filled with hope and amazement. Oh my goodness, it’s been so difficult to hold this in for so long!”

Several celebrities congratulated the newlyweds in response to the news. Kyle Richards, a star of American reality television, stated, “So pleased for all of you.” Beautiful news, said actor Kate Hudson. Essence Atkins, an actor, wrote “fantastic announcement Thank you for the fantastic news!” Jurnee Smollett, an actor, said: “Congratulations, @chrissyteigen and @johnlegend! I’m really pleased for you both!”
A number of famous people, including actors Lily James and Kate Beckinsale, used red heart emojis. John, in the meantime, shared a screenshot of Chrissy’s post on his Instagram. He uploaded it along with numerous red heart emoticons. Chrissy shared numerous social media posts in October 2020 about the loss of her third child with John. She had issues with her pregnancy at 20 weeks, and the baby died. Chrissy revealed earlier this year that she was seeking reproductive treatment.
