On Tuesday evening, there was a shooting at a Chula Vista mobile home park. Sadly, one person died, and another person got hurt. The Chula Vista Police Department said that a person driving a Jeep saw a police officer near Broadway and Palomar Street and told them that two young people in their late teens or early twenties had been shot.

One person was shot but is expected to survive, according to the police. The police officer gave CPR to another person who was also shot and seriously injured. When the officer found this person, they were not breathing. The fire department arrived and tried to revive them, but they were declared dead at the hospital.

After taking the injured people to the hospital, CVPD found out the shooting happened just before 5:30 p.m. at Brentwood Park, which is a mobile home park at 1100 Industrial Blvd.
Michael Brault was nearby when the Jeep driver called out to the officer. “I was coming towards the intersection and I heard someone shouting, ‘Help me, help me! Somebody help!'” Brault explained.
