Conor McGregor said in a video that he “could have been dead” after being hit by a car after an apparent mishap occurred while riding his bike in Ireland. In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, he wrote, “Got a bang of a car just now from behind.” The motorist couldn’t see me because of the sun. Speeding right by me. Godspeed; it wasn’t my time.
The driver was shown in the videos stopping to check on McGregor following the alleged crash, apologizing, and then providing McGregor with a ride with his bike in the trunk. The lightweight fighter had a tear in his pants but escaped physical harm. Hours after publishing them, he removed the posts from his Instagram account.

Despite not competing in 2022 as he recovered from the injury, McGregor remains the UFC’s biggest star. He was revealed as Jake Gyllenhaal‘s co-star in a remake of the 1989 movie “Road House” in August. On Wednesday, McGregor claimed that the UFC had invited him to serve as a coach for the forthcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
The day prior, the Majorca Daily Bulletin in Spain reported that McGregor was being looked into for allegedly assaulting a woman on a yacht in July. McGregor, who has a history of violent legal situations, refuted the charges.
