Cooper City Shooting Today: A woman was sent to the hospital following an armed robbery in Cooper City, which resulted in bullets being fired inside a coffee shop and led to the detention of a suspect who is currently being questioned by the authorities. On Sunday morning, deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and units from the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue went to the scene of a gunshot at the Clutch Coffee Bar, which is situated along the 9600 block of Stirling Road.

According to the investigators, just before 9 o’clock in the morning, they got a call regarding the event. According to the authorities, a female customer at the store was robbed and shot. When responding deputies arrived on the scene, the victim was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound. The paramedics took the patient to a hospital in the region for further treatment. Her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
7News took a picture of a sign-up on the drive-thru window of the coffee shop on Sunday afternoon. The sign informed customers that the restaurant would be “closed until further notice.” Officials from the city reported that investigators had been able to identify and apprehend a suspect just before 10 o’clock at night. As the investigation is still ongoing, the police have not revealed what was stolen during the robbery, where the victim was shot, or if she was a client or an employee.
