Sunday morning, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and fire rescue units responded to the shooting at Clutch Coffee Bar in the 9600 block of Stirling Road.
Investigators received the incident call before 9 a.m. A woman at the shop was robbed and shot, authorities said. Deputies found the victim shot.
Paramedics took the patient to a hospital. She’s okay. Sunday afternoon, News caught a sign on the coffee shop’s drive-thru window saying “closed until further notice.”
City officials verified investigators identified and detained a suspect before 10 p.m. As they investigate, detectives have not revealed what was stolen, where the woman was shot, or if she was a client or employee.
