He explained, “This is something that comes up every now and then, I believe because in the comics Wolverine is short, so every now and then they’re like, ‘Who’s a short actor?’ There’s never been any true truth to it. He also revealed that a joke he made in an interview was the source of the resurfacing of the rumors.
He continued, “Every once in a while I get weary of addressing the questions intelligently, so I simply make a joke like I did the other day, and it sort of has renewed the rumors about it, but there’s nothing going on.” Fans of the “X-Men” films are relieved to learn Hugh Jackman, at age 54, will continue to play Wolverine despite the departure of Daniel Radcliffe in the role.
