Dare Me, a darkly seductive drama based on Megan Abbott’s novel of the same name, revolves around best friends and high school cheerleaders Addy Hanlon and Beth Cassidy.
Once thick as thieves, their relationship becomes strained when new cheer coach Colette French arrives on the scene.
Addy, widely known as Hanlon, is bewitched by Colette and the pair quickly find themselves keeping secrets for one another. But their dynamic ramps up in intensity when Colette drags the teen into the death of Sarge Will, who was murdered in his apartment.
At the end of season one, we discover that Colette and her husband Matt were involved, but we don’t know what actually happened on the night of his death.
Beth, who took an instant dislike to the new coach, as well as Hanlon’s infatuation with her, is determined to prove Colette’s involvement in Will’s death. But by following that lead, she also risks exposing her best friend.
Dare Me Season 2 Release Date-
It was declared back in April that Dare Me had been dropped, with USA Network purportedly diverting its concentration from fiction to reality programming.
