The Descendants film series is an American musical fantasy teen action-adventure series. It debuted on Disney Channel on July 31, 2015. The films follow the life of some teenagers beyond their native place. To get their parents out of jail, they plan to take the Fairy Godmother’s wand.

Descendants 4 Plot
After the Barrier protecting the Isle of the Lost was pulled down, anarchy erupted on Auradon. The evil children of the Isle seek vengeance on those who have wronged them. Things are getting stolen, places are robbed.
Worst of all is the fact that because all the VKs and their parents are on Auradon they have gained the use of their long-lost powers and magic. They must figure out how to halt it all without sending the newcomers back to the Isle of the Lost, now that they are queen and king of Auradon.
But, difficulties are blooming everywhere. And then there are our heroes’ PARENTS, who present maybe the greatest obstacle of all. There is a chance Mal can save her kingdom with the help of the new friends and family she’s made.

With Mal in a state of perpetual doom, Audrey uses Maleficent’s scepter on him and then sets out on a quest to retrieve Hades’ ember, the one and only artifact capable of undoing the curse. Upon entering the Isle, Mal is released of the curse and Celia gets her into Hades’ lair, but Hades thwarts their endeavor to steal the ember.
As it turns out, he is Mal’s long-lost father. He grudgingly hands her the ember over but warns her that if she gets it wet, it will lose some of its magic. While leaving the Isle, Mal and the others are met by Uma, Gil, and Harry, who agree to aid after Mal agrees to release all the children from the Isle.
As Jane’s birthday celebration in Auradon is under siege by Audrey, who has cast a sleeping curse on the guests, Chad sides with Audrey, and Jane flees into the magical lake. As Audrey’s enchantment spreads throughout the kingdom, she offers to reverse it in exchange for Ben’s hand in marriage.
However, he refuses, forcing Audrey to turn him into a beast and begins turning people to stone. Mal and Uma, fighting for the leadership of the VKs, return to Auradon with their allies. The two of them eventually come together to track down and beat Audrey, despite their initial disagreements.
After finding Ben in beast shape, Carlos calms him as Jane restores him to human form with the enchanted lake water. As Mal and Uma make amends, Audrey seals them in Evie’s house, but they are able to remove Audrey’s spell by uniting their magic, and they and their friends reconcile.
At the Fairy Cottage, they discover only a shell-shocked Chad. A rift forms among the members of the group after Mal reveals her intention to permanently close off access to the Isle. Celia, discovering she would no longer see her father, tosses the ember into a birdbath. Everybody but Mal turns to stone after Evie confronts him about lying to them and their friends.
Audrey kidnaps Celia and uses her dragon form to attack Mal. Realizing she is Mal’s only hope, Uma combines their magic to reignite the ember; Mal defeats Audrey, who becomes comatose, and the curses are lifted. Mal and her friends reconcile while Ben agrees to allow Hades to use the ember to resuscitate Audrey, but decries the double standard under which Audrey is immediately forgiven as she is not considered a villain, and Mal, Ben, and Audrey make apologies.
When asked whether she would be willing to abdicate her position as queen of the Isle in order to become queen of Auradon, Mal says no. With Ben and Fairy Godmother’s agreement, Mal replaces the barrier with a bridge, and the residents of the newly integrated civilization celebrate. Jane and Carlos start dating, Mal and Ben get engaged, and after Uma rejects Harry, Audrey develops feelings for him romantically.
