A source close to Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn has confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple has split up after dating for six years. Swift is currently on the road for her sold-out Eras tour, where the actor has been noticeably absent. The English actor, now 32, and the Grammy winner, now 33, have been rumored to be engaged for some time, but they have consistently denied the claims.
Alwyn once joked to WSJ. Magazine, “If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins.”
