Disney Dreamlight Valley has a lot in common with both Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. I’m reminded of ConcernedApe’s agricultural sim because villagers have their own homes, similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and because there are elements like crafting, cooking, cultivating crops, fishing, and more.
While I’m playing as a Disney-fied version of myself, I’m attempting to solve a mysterious mystery with the help of characters like Goofy, Mickey, and Scrooge McDuck. I can picture myself falling under the spell of Disney Dreamlight Valley, even if I only get to try out some of the quests and events that will be offered during the early access launch on September 6.

What’s The Disney Dreamlight Valley Story?
It is up to you to restore a deserted village in Disney Dreamlight Valley to its former grandeur. The area is currently covered in thorns due to an incident known as forgetting. There are a variety of Disney and Pixar characters, both good and bad, with whom you’ll need to establish relationships and alliances in order to breathe new life into this gorgeous community.

You’ll also be able to visit a number of movie worlds as you continue through the game, and each one has things and materials that you can use to reconstruct the village. Many customization options are available so that you may truly make the game your own.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Release Date
On September 6, 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available for early access to players who have either purchased a Founder’s Pack or subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. This early access period will last for one week.
Is There A Disney Dreamlight Valley Switch Version?
Yes, there’s a Disney Dreamlight Valley Switch version, however, we don’t know if the founder’s pack and early access are available on Nintendo Switch. However, it’s absolutely available on PC, PS5, and Xbox with Xbox Game Pass. It’s also worth noting that Disney Dreamlight Valley is set for an Apple Arcade release, too.
Friendship, Love, And Care
As a whole, Dreamlight Valley succeeds because of how it fosters its lovable cast of people. You can raise your degree of Dreamlight magic in the Valley by demonstrating friendship, love, and caring for others around you. You can remove little thorns right immediately, but to remove larger thorns that obstruct new regions, you’ll need some magic. Your magic will develop stronger and your relationship with the villagers will grow stronger as a result of accomplishing their tasks.
If you’ve ever played Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’re familiar with the Nook Miles reward system, which consists of additional activities that reward you with more magic when completed, and Dreamlight Duties is no different. In addition to being automatically drawn in by the cast of renowned Disney and Pixar characters who have been faithfully recreated, you’ll want to cultivate your own sense of wonder and wonderment for them.
There are three villagers to meet, each with their own set of tasks, in the first regions I can explore with Merlin. Scrooge McDuck, who is attempting to reestablish his business in the valley, is the first person I meet. The local clothing and furniture store is operated by the frugal, money-loving duck, and it’s clear that the Forgetting and the Night Thorns have had an impact. I quickly begin to feel like my presence and efforts in the valley are making a difference as I take on a series of quests that lead to the grand re-opening of the store.
By making conversation, presenting gifts, or inviting the locals to join you for a drink or a meal, you can also build friendships. Having the option to bring along a villager to help you out on a quest or just to keep you company while you explore is a great addition. You may find a variety of Royal Tools in the valley, including Goofy who instructs me on how to fish after he fixes my fishing rod.
When I play the fishing minigame, I prefer to bring along the adorable cartoon dog to help me align rings in time to reel in a catch. Taking selfies with the valley’s residents, which I do far too often, is an added perk. Your friendship level will rise as you spend more time with the locals and you will be rewarded with a variety of new products and Dreamlight powers.
