Three Roads and Buildings (R&B) department employees, including the Executive Engineer (XEN) Doda, were killed in a car accident on Monday in the Trungal area of Assar on the Batote-Kishtwar National Highway in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to the police. According to a representative of police station Assar, a vehicle carrying three R&B Doda officers—SE, AEE, and Xen—skipped off the road and plunged into a 200-meter-deep chasm close to Trungal bridge in Assar, 37 kilometres from Doda town:
“According to reports, the accident happened at 10.45 am this morning due to poor visibility brought on by dense fog and significant rainfall. When a police team from Police Station Assar and residents arrived at the scene and launched a rescue effort, three of the four victims were discovered dead there, while the injured were taken to CHC Assar “the representative noted.

Mohammad Rafiq, an executive engineer from Poonch, Kamal Kishore, an assistant executive engineer from Udhampur, and their driver Hafeez from Doda were all engineers with the roads and buildings department. The injured person has been identified as superintending engineer Suresh Kumar. He was received at the medical centre.
