Dr Stone Season 3: Written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by South Korean artist Boichi, Dr Stone (stylized as Dr STONE) is a popular Japanese manga series. From March 2017 to March 2022, it ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shnen Jump, and the resulting twenty-six tankbon volumes compiled the serial’s chapters. The protagonist of this narrative is Senku Ishigami, a teenage scientific prodigy who has the plan to revive civilization after it has been mysteriously frozen for 3,700 years.
In North America, Viz Media has the right to publish manga. In January 2019, Shueisha launched English-language simulpublishing of the series on the website and app Manga Plus. To complement the novel, TMS Entertainment animated a television series that aired on Tokyo MX from July to December 2019.
The second season of the anime ran from January to March of 2021, and it followed the storyline of the “Stone Wars.” Expect the season three premiere date of April 2023. In July of 2022, a TV special titled Dr Stone: Ryusui debuted. The Dr Stone manga has sold over 10 million copies as of April 2021. The 64th Annual Shogakukan Manga Award for shnen went to Dr Stone in 2019.

Dr Stone Season 3 Storyline
The year is 2019 A.D., and a strange flash has rendered nearly all of humanity immobile. In April 5738, a 15-year-old prodigy named Senku Ishigami is suddenly awoken to find himself in a world where all signs of human civilization have been eaten away by time. The human species has been trapped in stone for 3,700 years. Senku establishes a camp and investigates the petrified humans in trying to find the source of the phenomenon and a solution.
A buddy of Senku’s named Taiju Oki wakes up after being dormant for six months, and he explains to Senku that nitric acid was the key to their resuscitation. In light of this finding, they create a chemical that can be used to quickly resuscitate anyone. Towards this end, they begin by resurrecting a legendary martial artist named Tsukasa Shishi and their classmate (and Taiju’s crush) Yuzuriha Ogawa.
Tsukasa eventually admits that he disagrees with Senku’s plan to establish a new scientific civilization because he thinks the previous world was polluted and shouldn’t be brought back to life. Instead, he has set his sights on creating a new world order centred on force and strength, going so far as to destroy any frightened adults he comes across. Tsukasa tries to kill Senku after blackmailing him for the formula to the rejuvenation compound because Senku can make weapons Tsukasa is unable to against.

Tsukasa goes off to start his own group in the Stone World when he thinks he has murdered Senku. Senku, having recovered from his near-death experience, learns of the existence of a native tribe on the planet and uses this information to find the Science Kingdom. At first sceptical, these individuals eventually come to appreciate the life-saving potential of scientific progress.
As time goes on and the tribe grows to trust Senku more, he learns about their history and meets his adoptive father Byakuya and the five other astronauts who founded the town while they were unharmed on the International Space Station. Senku’s Kingdom of Science goes to battle with the Tsukasa Empire, and with the help of his new allies and friends, they end up triumphant and establish themselves as a major power.
Senku’s adopted father left behind rich metals that can be used as catalysts to mass-produce revival fluid after their victory; these metals were hidden on a neighbouring island that is now inhabited by a tribe known as the Petrification Kingdom, who had the technology used to petrify the earth aeons ago.

Dr Stone Season 3 Release Date
The good news is that there will most surely be a third season of Dr Stone on the way. The series will debut sometime in April 2023 and was developed by TMS Entertainment, the same company that brought you the crime drama Case Closed and the love story anime Fruits Basket.
However, when exactly in the month of April will we be able to receive the third season of Dr Stone? We are still in the dark about it. Since it was announced on Twitter by the official AnimeTV account that the release date for the series will be in the spring of 2023, we now know that it is highly improbable that the release date will be pushed back further than April.
