Like many other Capcom games, Dragon’s Dogma 2 will use the RE Engine. The original developers, including director Hideaki Itsuno and programmers Daigo Ikeno and Kenichi Suzuki, will return for the sequel.
Dragon’s Dogma was released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in May 2012. It was eventually ported to PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, and a revised version named Dark Arisen was released with more content. There’s also a Netflix animated series.

Less than a year it is passed between the announcement of Devil May Cry 5 in June 2018 and its release in March 2019. As a result, the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 could be delayed until at least the first half of 2023.
The game’s release date and support systems are currently unknown. There has been no confirmation of an exclusive arrangement, so we may assume that Dragon’s Dogma will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Switch.
