United States: Police in the US detained an intoxicated Florida man for burglary after he denied breaking into a home and claimed he ended up there by accident. David Randall Dominguez, 48, was identified by deputies who responded to a complaint of a “dirty, shirtless male” a homeowner had seen in Suwannee County on his front porch.
According to The Press, the man identified the two people accompanying him outside his broken-down pickup truck as his mother and uncle, who had come to help the man. Investigators examined the scene and discovered new glass shards in a broken window and evidence that someone had attempted to forcefully enter the front door and caused damage to Rs 80,000.
The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office stated that “as expected,” they “told all kinds of stories” and “denied having anything to do with the damage to the house.” “David’s uncle claimed that he spent the entire night with David and that despite being dark outside, he did not witness David damage the house but did observe David enter the backyard.”

While the main suspect vehemently denied being involved in the broken window or attempting to force the door open, he did admit that while intoxicated, he did approach the front porch and accidentally stumbled into the window, breaking it.
David reaffirmed that he wasn’t attempting to break in. Based on the facts and the information gathered, he was detained and charged with burglary and sent Voluntary DNA samples to a crime lab to compare with the blood signatures on the window.
