Easton Twelve-year-old Michael Johnson of Paw Paw, Michigan, Death occurred at Bronson Methodist Hospital on September 15, 2023. It was on January 5th, 2011, that Jimmy and Kelsie (Costello) Johnson welcomed their son. In Paw Paw, Michigan, he went to sixth grade.
Easton “Javi” was well-known as a dominant pitcher and third baseman with the BTLA Canes in the competitive world of travel baseball. His other passions included the Miami Dolphins and the University of Alabama, and he was a huge Conor McGregor fan. He treasured his time spent with his brother and best friend, Maverick.
Many people referred to him as Big E or EJ. His unique pink cleats and bleached blonde hair helped him stand out on the field. The numerous friendships he forged with his instructors, coaches, parents, doctors, teammates, etc., attest to the magnetic pull of his self-assurance.

Jimmy and Kelsie, Easton’s parents, and Maverick, his brother, as well as his grandparents Jim and Nancy Johnson, Mike and Michelle Costello, and great-grandmothers Ruth Ann Dobler and Adriana “Mick” Henwood, all survive him.
