On Wednesday, singer Ed Sheeran revealed on Instagram that his wife Cherry Seaborn had a tumor discovered during the second pregnancy of their children. In a lengthy blog post about his most recent album, “Subtract,” which he claimed was filled with his “deepest darkest thoughts,” Sheeran made the announcement.

According to BBC News, British businessman Jamal Edwards is credited with giving Ed Sheeran his big break through his media company SBTV. His family reported that he passed away at age 31 from a “sudden illness” in February 2022. Sheeran spoke to a lawsuit about his 2017 song “Shape of You” in which it was claimed that Sheeran copied the song from an artist by the name of Sami Switch. “I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter,” Sheeran stated. The record is expected release May 5, according to BBC News. “Subtract” comes after a string of other albums with mathematical themes, including “Plus,” “Multiply,” “Split,” and “Equals.”
