Elon Musk has written a bizarre post about his possible death on the internet.
On Monday afternoon, he wrote on Twitter, “If I die in mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowing you.”
Musk is well-known for using the micro-blogging platform to express himself in ways that may not be under the law.
As soon as the tweet went out, a flurry of responses poured in, from worried Tesla owners to sarcastic witticisms to harsh criticism of the company’s leader.
It has been compared to a message John McAfree, another controversial billionaire, posted about his death shortly before he died in 2021, which some have found eerie.

A sarcastic response included the words “the world needs you” and a picture of fictional meth kingpin Walter White, who in the hit television series Breaking Bad believed he was doing good deeds despite their evil nature.
