Emily in Paris has finally returned for its third season, and Lily Collins is back in her role as Emily in, um, Paris. However, to give you an idea of what to anticipate from the next third set of episodes uploaded to Netflix, here is a rundown of everything that occurred in the second season.
Emily in Paris Season 2 Recap
The Love Life of Emily
During the show’s second season, Emily got caught in a complicated love triangle (or was it a square?). After Gabriel and Emily’s best friend Camille (who also happens to be Gabriel’s ex-girlfriend), Emily hooks up with a hot French chef. Still, she later decides to pull away from the relationship because she feels guilty about how Camille feels.
Emily then finds romance with a new cockney geezer on the scene, Alfie, after meeting him in French lessons; nevertheless, Alfie eventually gets suspicious of potential residual feelings between Emily and Gabriel.
In the last episode of the season, Alfie surprises Emily by proposing to continue their relationship even though he will soon be moving back to London. He tells her, “The project that brought me here has ended.” “It’s been a week since I was meant to be back in London. I have procrastinated for the maximum amount of time I can. I didn’t leave because of you. Why? Because I’m curious to find out if this—if we—can amount to anything. And I believe that we will be successful. I’ll only be a short drive or train trip away.”
She eventually tells him about her emotions for him, only to find out that he and Camille are back together. She admits to Mindy that she still has feelings for Gabriel, and Mindy encourages her to follow her heart. In the meantime, she tells Mindy she still has feelings for Gabriel. Who will she finally choose to be with?

Emily’s Professional life
Emily continues her secondment from Chicago to the Gilbert Group’s office of Savoir in Paris as the second season begins. But Sylvie soon offers her a new job that she can’t refuse: she wants her to join her new agency with Luc and Julien.
Emily is in a difficult predicament. If she remains at Savoir with her present supervisor Madeline, she will undoubtedly be advanced in her career. She will have the opportunity to relocate back to the United States. If she joins Sylvie’s new agency, she will be required to remain in Paris; nevertheless, she will be given a more significant number of chances to demonstrate her ability. After the show, Emily is heard on the phone to Sylvie announcing that she has decided something; however, the audience is left in the dark about her choice. Now that we’ve seen it, we can’t wait for season three. The third season of Emily in Paris is available to stream on Netflix.
