Evil is an American supernatural drama TV show that started on CBS on September 26, 2019. It was made by Robert and Michelle King. The main idea of the show is that a skeptical forensic psychologist teams up with a Catholic seminarian and a technology contractor to look into supposed paranormal events. Rotten Tomatoes says that the series is “certified fresh” with a perfect score of 92% approval based on 50 reviews and an average rating of 7.70/10.
Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, gave it a score of 76 out of 100 based on the opinions of 14 critics. This means that the reviews were “generally positive.” This is a clear sign that both the viewers and the critics liked the show.
After this pretty good response, it was easy for the network to decide to keep the show going for another season. We’ve put together a quick summary of everything you need to know about the new season’s release date, plot, and cast so you can get ready to stream it. Read on to learn more about Season 4 of Evil.
FYI all 5 eps of this very good show are available to stream for free. Would be a fun binge on Halloween night! #EvilCBS https://t.co/9jHy8dtxiC

Will There Be a Season 4 of Evil?
Yes, Evil has already been picked up for a fourth season by Paramount+. Nicole Clemens, the president of the original scripted series for the platforms, said, “We couldn’t be more excited to be scared by what Robert and Michelle [King] come up with for season four and how well our outstanding cast brings it to life.”
This is not strange. Fans of the show are very dedicated, but more than that, it’s a very original arrow in the quiver of a streaming network that needs some of those in the ongoing “Streaming Wars.” High-quality original content is what makes or breaks streaming services, especially when they are just starting out. Since things like Halo divide audiences even though a lot of money is spent on them, Paramount is probably safe betting on reliable content that doesn’t have an established cross-over audience to annoy. And more power to Evil, because it’s awesome.
Expected Plot for Season 4 of Evil
Evil Season 4 will probably start where the last episode of the third season left off. That episode will come out on August 14, 2022. As of July 7, 2022, the network has not announced the episode’s official title or plot summary. It will be released when the premiere dates get closer to the actual dates. Also, Season 3 of Evil started right after David (Mike Colter), a newly ordained priest, kissed Kristen (Katie Herbers), his psychologist/criminal partner.
The show also has Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Andrea Martin, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp. Aasif Mandvi is the third member of the team of investigators. So, the pilot episode of Evil’s fourth season is supposed to continue this idea.
Even though it’s still early, it’s hard to say what the exact plot of the next season will be. People think that the next season will pick up any cliffhangers and subplots and dive right into this world, giving fans something new to look at instead of the same old themes like in the previous seasons. We don’t know how the season will end based on the first four episodes.
So far, viewers and critics from all over the world have had good things to say about the reception. So, the show will make people want to watch it when it comes out on TV or a streaming service. So, it will be interesting to see how they handle this extra pressure and add something new to the show to make the end of season three satisfying.

Evil Season 4 Release Date
As of July 7, 2022, Paramount+ has not yet announced when Evil Season 4 will come out. This is because only four of the usual ten episodes from the third season have been shown. On the bright side, it looks like the next season will be scheduled and made on time because the show was renewed early. As the network announced the renewal before the end of the first season, it is too early to tell what will happen.
But if we look at how the first season came out, we can probably guess that the fourth season will start sometime in the next year. We think it will come out sometime in 2023, most likely in or around the months of June or September. Also, we want to make it clear that at this point, everything is just a guess. Fans should be patient because the network will confirm these facts in the coming months, so they should keep an eye on it.
Is There a Sneak Peek for Season 4 of Evil?
