Fall Guys Season 3: A free-to-play platform battle royale game, Fall Guys was once known as Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout from developer Mediatonic. Up to sixty people take control of jellybean-like critters and compete against one another in a variety of randomly generated minigames, such as obstacle courses and tags. As the rounds advance, players are eliminated until only one remains to claim victory. Takeshi’s Castle, It’s a Knockout, and Wipeout, as well as classic playground games like tag and British Bulldog, served as inspiration for the game.
On August 4, 2020, Devolver Digital launched the game for Windows PC and PlayStation 4. Now that Epic Games owns Mediatonic, they may publish the games. The game was first published for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with full cross-platform play support, on June 21, 2022, and was later made free-to-play on June 21, 2022. The change included the game’s adoption of a seasonal battle pass system for monetization, which allows players to purchase new cosmetic items for their avatars at the end of each season.
Critics praised Fall Guys for its chaotic gameplay and unique visual style. In its free-to-play form, the game attracted more than 50 million players and sold over 10 million copies. Mediatonic has issued many patches for the game since its first release. The forthcoming ninth season will have an aquatic theme and will premiere tomorrow.

Fall Guys Season 3 Gameplay
As many as sixty players can take part in a match at once. Player characters, depicted as round, jellylike objects, travel freely throughout a three-dimensional playing field and can perform a variety of acrobatic maneuvers to advance the action, such as jumping, grabbing, and diving. The goal is to advance to the next round by winning each of a series of minigames that will also be chosen at random.
Minigames can range from simple tag-style competitions to more complex ones that need cooperation between players or a race to the end of the area. Every minigame has its own unique set of challenges, and they all involve the random appearance of barriers in various locations. The minigames have particular conditions that players must not miss or they will be eliminated.
The remaining participants compete in a best-of-one match using a random minigame tailored to a lower number of players in the final round. Whoever is still playing when the clock runs out is the winner. Players can show off their individuality and creativity by customizing their character with a wide variety of unique cosmetics, nameplates, nametags, patterns, faceplates, colors, and emotes with the in-game currency, Kudos.
Players can earn crowns for their achievements and Kudos for completing daily challenges. Prior to June 21st, 2022, Crowns could be exchanged for anything of value, but they now serve primarily as a means of increasing one’s Crown Rank. After the game became free to play, any unspent Crowns were changed into Kudos. Every two to six months, Fall Guys premieres a new season with a fresh premise and more episodes.
