Here we are talking about a Fire Pit Accident That Kills The Mother of Five Kids in Florida. A devastating fire pit tragedy in the backyard of the family home claimed the life of a Florida mother of five while she was having fun with her kids and friends. Nicole Foltz’s gas can blew up in her hands while she was attempting to rekindle the fire at the residence in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

According to WTVT, Foltz had burns covering nearly every square inch of her body. Three days after the event, she passed away at Tampa General Hospital. Her husband, Jeff Foltz, told the station, “I had just gone inside and to my knowledge, she chose to try to keep the fire burning, keep the fun going.”

She “poured the gas into it, and it ignited and blew the can up in her hands,” after which she added another wood to the fire. “Accidents do happen, and they may wreck your life,” he continued.

Nearly $30,000 has been received through a GoFundMe to support her family. A post on the fundraiser read, “Nicole was loved so much because she truly enjoyed life.

“The room was usually filled with her radiant smile. She was always there for everyone, whether it was a friend, customer, coworker, relative, or just a special occasion like a birthday or an anniversary.

“All donations will help the family with the costs of Nicole’s burial, her medical bills, the ongoing hospital fees for little Jeffrey’s skin graphing and long-term rehabilitation, daycare, and continuous living expenses for the six-person surviving family who are now living without Nicole’s income.”
