A woman, who attempted to shoot her former manager in the chest after she was fired from her job at a Metro by T-Mobile in Lauderhill, Florida, surrendered to police at the Broward Sheriff’s Office Main Jail, Lauderhill Police Department said.

CCTV footage revealed scary moments as 27-year-old Rachel Boisette attempted to shoot her former manager. The incident took place at a Lauderhill Metro by T-Mobile in the 5500 block of W Oakland Park Blvd on Friday. The incident was reported to police by those who heard the sound of the shooting, reported NBC Miami.

Boisette surrendered to authorities around midnight Sunday and was charged with attempted homicide with a firearm, police said.

“I’m shocked. I’m shocked, yes, because it’s not good for anybody,” said Gean Elie, an eyewitness.

According to Spot On Florida, Boisette used to work at the location but was fired. As per police documents, she blamed her former manager and accused him of ruining her life.

Bullet Went Through Arm and Chest

On Friday, Boisette decided to take revenge and returned to her former job and shot her former manager.

In CCTV footage, one can see her pointing the gun and that manager, whose name is not being revealed, running for his life. Police said a bullet went through his arm and into his chest.

The manager of a cellphone store in Lauderhill was taken to the hospital after, police said, he was shot by a former employee over her termination.

There was even a trail of blood from the cash register leading to the bathroom where he eventually took shelter.

The manager was rushed to a nearby hospital, and he is stable now. No fatalities were reported.

After the shooting, Boisette fled the scene but turned herself in later. She has been charged with attempted homicide with a gun, according to the authorities.

Meanwhile, a man died in the parking lot of a Palm Beach County strip club following an overnight shooting Saturday. Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said that its deputies found the man when they reached Playhouse 2 adult entertainment club, 8340 Resource Dr., around 3.08 a.m. after a call came in about the shooting.

No information about the gunman was released.
