According to an arrest affidavit, an 8-year-old boy is charged with using a kitchen knife to sever the throat of another youngster at a residence in Lake County. Police reported that the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon on Calle De Flores Drive in Clermont.
According to investigators, the victim was in the garage when the suspect initially pounced on him and elbowed him in the stomach. Later, when the culprit choked the same youngster, the victim alerted the attacker that he was having trouble breathing.
The victim knocked the suspect off of him, and the affidavit said that the suspect reached for a knife. According to the complaint, the victim approached the suspect and tried to communicate with him when the suspect allegedly swung at the victim and sliced his throat.

The defendant was detained and transferred to the Lake County Correctional Center on charges of aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Police claimed this event was not the suspect’s first time becoming violent.
According to the affidavit, the foster children are terrified of the boy, who has a history of aggression against them and other people.
