LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA — People are angry that a man suspected of killing a 5-year-old boy in a DUI crash in Lake County is free on bond.
FHP says that 30-year-old Daksh Wadhwa was driving west on CR-448 in Tavares while the Mount Dora woman and child were moving east. Troopers say Wadhwa went into the eastbound lane, and both drivers tried to avoid a crash by skidding, but the front of Wadhwa’s car hit the right side of the other car.

A 5-year-old boy in the second car was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries over the weekend. The woman driving the car, who was 29 years old, was hurt very badly.
Troopers say the suspect had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.
People are complaining about his $3,000 bond on social media, saying it was too low.
