Game Theory With Bomani Jones, hosted by ESPN’s Bomani Jones, was renewed for a second season on Tuesday. Jones gives his satirical take on various cultural and sporting events throughout the show. The premiere episode aired on March 13, and there were a total of six in the debut season.
Jones was quoted in an HBO press release as saying, “Game Theory has been a dream, the most creatively thrilling thing I’ve ever done, with the best team I’ve ever had.” “I’m looking forward to using what we learned in Season One to make this show even better in Season Two.” HBO hasn’t shared much about the upcoming season, but it won’t premiere until 2023.
Executive Vice President of HBO Programming Nina Rosenstein praised Boban “Bomani’s perspective on sports comes from a great base of knowledge, unexpected insights, and a sharp sense of humor.” He enlightens us to another perspective on the debate and explains why it is necessary and why we should take an interest. He’s only just begun; we can’t wait to see what else he has in store.
Previously, Jones co-hosted ESPN shows Highly Questionable (2013-2017) with Dan Le Batard and High Noon (2018-20) with Pablo Torre. His appearances on ESPN’s Around the Horn are frequent. Moreover, ESPN has released a podcast featuring him titled The Right Time with Bomani Jones.
